The percentage of revenue you should be getting from partners, no matter your size.

Hey Tyler -

Yesterday I promised you a number. Here it is.

At minimum, 10 to 20 percent of your revenue should come from partners.

Not someday. Now, at whatever size you are today. A solo business doing $200k or a company doing $50M, the percentage holds. If partners are not driving at least a tenth of your revenue, you are leaving one of the most durable growth channels you have sitting on the table.

Most founders have never had a number attached to this. So partnerships stays vague. A "nice to have." The thing you will get to after the next hire. And it never happens.

A number changes that. Because now you can look at your revenue, do the quick math, and see the gap.

Let me show you what that gap is worth.

When beehiiv was scaling, partnerships drove around 15 percent of their recurring revenue. Not a rounding error. A meaningful slice of the entire company, coming from a channel most of their competitors were ignoring.

That is the floor I want you thinking about. 10 to 20 percent. And here is the part nobody tells you: it is a floor, not a ceiling. Once the system is running, that number climbs as far as you are willing to push the lever. I know operators pulling 40 and 50 percent of their revenue through partners.

So here is the standard I hold for the people I work with.

I want to help you recruit 100 dream partners, and drive six to seven figures of partner revenue into your business in the next 12 months. That is the outcome. Concrete, measurable, yours.

And it ladders into something bigger I am building.

My mission is to help 100 companies generate $100 million in partner-driven revenue over the next 24 months. You hitting your number is not separate from that mission. It is the mission. 100 founders each installing a real partner channel is how the whole thing adds up.

That is why I have no interest in vague. I want you to have a number, a target, and a path.

Tomorrow I will show you why this channel is about to matter more than any other lever you pull, and why the timing has never been better than right now.

keep stacking 🧱
